The newly regenerated Seventh Doctor and Mel embark on their adventures, building trust along the way. Eventually, they encounter Ace, a girl taken from her homeworld and time.
The Doctor is faced with enemies including the Rani and the terrifying Tetraps, Kroagnon and his cleaning robots in Paradise Towers, the ruthless Bannermen and Kane, the murderous ruler of Iceworld in Dragonfire.
A newly regenerated Doctor is taken to the Rani’s base by Urak the Tetrap, while Mel meets some of the Lakertyans.
The Rani’s impersonation of Mel backfires badly because Urak can't tell the difference.
The furious Rani begins to slaughter the Lakertyans, so Mel rallies the survivors to help them.
Mel convinces the Lakertyans fight back. The Doctor ensures the missile is deflected.
The Doctor and Mel arrive at the legendary Paradise Towers which is supposed to be the height of luxury.
With the Doctor condemned to death by the caretakers and their bizarre rulebook, Mel faces cannibalistic OAPS.
The Doctor and the surviving Kangs learn all about Kroagnon the Great Architect.
Kroagnon has been reborn, and is using the Chief Caretaker's reanimated corpse to move.
The Doctor and Mel win a trip to Disneyland in 1959 but after an accident, they actually end up in South Wales
Gavrok and the Bannermen have arrived on Earth, searching for Delta and slaughter the holidaymakers.
The Doctor and Goronwy the beekeeper face Gavrok and his Bannermen one last time.
On Iceworld, the Doctor and Mel meet Ace, who has found herself there after a timestorm.
The Doctor and Glitz meet the infamous dragon, which is really a biomechanoid.
Shown the archive by the biomechanoid, the Doctor discovers that Kane is from the dead world of Proamon.
