After the Daleks failed to invade Earth they made their own time machine to find the Doctor and exterminate him. These Daleks have solar panels on their mid-section which replaced the disc and allowed them to travel anywhere.
These Daleks appeared in the following TV stories: The Chase (1965), Mission to the Unknown (1965), The Daleks’ Master Plan (1965), The Power of the Daleks (1966) and The Evil of the Daleks (1967).
