This wooden Cyberman was unique, it was designed and built for a specific purpose. Apart from being wooden, the other differences were that it had a yellow chest peice and speech inicator, other Cybermen of similar design used blue for these.
The wooden Cyberman was created to find the Doctor in the town of Christmas on the planet Trenzalore. It was made of wood to enter the town undetected.
This Cyberman only appeared in the 2013 story The Time of the Doctor.
