The Doctor, along with companions Vicki and Steven, continue their adventures through time and space. Vicki stays in Troy 1960 after falling in love, while Dodo, a new companion from modern-day Earth, joins the Doctor and Steven.
Their adventures begin in the far future on a disintegrating planet, then lead to a quest to stop the Dalek Masterplan from conquering humanity. They also visit America's Wild West and venture beyond reality itself, where they encounter the Celestial Toymaker!
