The TARDIS was rebuilt for Doctor Who Season Four mainly due to the amount of location footage the Police Box would be needed for. This TARDIS lasted into the fourth Doctors era, it was last used in The Seeds of Doom.
This version of the TARDIS went through a few unusual and inaccurate changes. In The Evil of the Daleks the doors were placed the wrong way around, this lasted until The Wheel in Space (Although a different model shot was used in The Tomb of the Cybermen with a clearer St Johns Ambulance logo). Another odd addition was a second handle to the left of the telephone panel in The Invasion. In The Seeds of Death the telephone panel colour, font and wording changed.
