After the death of the Cyber Controller the Cybermen that had survived were locked away by the humans. The Cybermen soon found a way to travel from their universe to ours. The Cyber Leader took control of the remaining Cybermen.

This evolution of the Cyber Leader appeared in the 2006 story Army of Ghosts/Doomsday and the 2010 story The Pandorica Opens.

The sphere broke down the barriers between worlds. We only followed. Its origin is unknown. The Cyber Leader
