Season Fourteen TARDIS Console Room Design

Season Fourteens first story The Masque of Mandragora introduced the secondary control room. This was the first reference that the TARDIS contained more than one control room.

Basic TARDIS Console

The secondary TARDIS control room was far more basic than the primary one. It contained a console in the center of the room. It had no time rotor and many of the panels were just used for storage.

Doors

The secondary TARDIS control room had two doors/entrances that we could see. Leading to the outside was a dark area, we couldn’t see a door from the inside. The other was a door leading to other areas in the TARDIS.

View Screen

The secondary TARDIS control had a large view screen that could open and close built into the wall.
