About Doctor Who – Pond Life

Pond Life is a mini-adventure available online giving a sneak peak at what is to come in the first episode of Doctor Who Series 7.

Pond Life focuses on Amy and Rory and the chaos created when the Doctor drops in and out of their lives.

The news of Pond Life was announced 22nd August 2012 in a Series 7 press release.

Written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Saul Metzstein, Pond Life will be split in to five mini-adventures across the week starting at noon on the 27 August and running each day at the same time until to the 31 August. An omnibus of all of the episodes will be shown on the BBC’s Red Button on Saturday 1 September.

Pond Life – Part 1 Monday, 27th August 2012 at 12:00PM The Doctor leaves a voicemail for Amy and Rory, telling them about his wild adventures

Pond Life – Part 2 Tuesday, 28th August 2012 at 12:00PM The Doctor wakes Amy and Rory in the middle of the night to warn them of danger, only to leave right away.

Pond Life – Part 3 Wednesday, 29th August 2012 at 12:00PM Rory finds a misplaced Ood sitting in their bathroom, which the Doctor accidentally left behind.

Pond Life – Part 4 Thursday, 30th August 2012 at 12:00PM The Ood acts as Amy and Rory’s domestic butler while the Doctor promises to come pick him up soon.

Pond Life – Part 5 Friday, 31st August 2012 at 12:00PM The Doctor uses the sonic screwdriver to delete his voicemail after finding the Ponds away following a rift.
